  Hæbbe mē on bōsme     þæt on bearwe ġewēox.
  Hwīlum iċ on wloncum     wicge rīde
  herġes on ende;     heard is mīn tunge.
  Oft iċ wōðboran     wordlēana sum
10 āġyfe æfter ġiedde.     Good is mīn wīse
